Enginuity is at:GPS Navigation post code is TF8 7DU
This is approximately 3.5 miles South of Junction 6 of the M54
If coming west on the M54 ignore the signs at junction 4 for the Ironbridge gorge and other museums. Coming off at Junction 6 is more direct.
Come off the M54 at junction 6 and take the A5223 South toward Ironbridge.
If travelling eastwards on the M54 (J6) take the last exit off the motorway island.
Go straight over the first set of traffic lights, keeping to the A5223. At the third roundabout go straight on by taking the second exit. This road is Jiggers Bank and goes downhill for approximately 1 mile. You will go under the Railway bridge at the bottom of Jiggers and through a set of traffic lights next to the Coalbrookdale Inn. The Main car park is just down the hill on the right as the road bends. We are lucky to be able to use the AGA car park this year.
Telford Central Station is about 6 miles away from the venue. A bus service (or taxi) to Ironbridge is available from nearby.
The organisers suggest that wherever possible people car share. Disabled parking and further limited space is available at Enginuity itself, where a £3.00 Pay-and-Display system operates.
Main Car Park - AGA works, adjacent to the Enginuity centre. Carry on past the Coalbrookdale Inn. It is on your right hand side as the road goes downhill and bends around to the right.
PARK AND RIDE FOR 2017. This regular 12 minute bus service operates near the roundabout at the top of Jigger's Bank (A4169 - postcode TF4 3QE), which is the normal route to Enginuity/Museum of Iron. It takes you into the site itself. Cost just £1 (Bus Pass holders and children free) and the first bus leaves at 9am. The shortest return pick-up bus stop is on the main road just outside the HamFest (Enginuity/Museum of Iron) site, listed as 'Coalbrookdale' on the Timetable. However, if you prefer to catch the bus from the same spot at which you arrived, the bus's circular route will still take you back to your vehicle, but takes a few minutes longer.
The free parking at the Aga works is still fully available to visitors, but some folk say it is a bit of an uphill walk to the HamFest entrance.
